If you are good in your Mechanical areas like Design, Product Development, Engineering Change Management, PDM's, PLM's there is enough scope for you guys to get into SAP Functional Consultant Careers where in you will bring the best methodologies and practices which you have experianced in delivering a solution in any organisation using SAP as a tool. You can work as a SAP PLM consultant and work in the areas of SAP DMS, SAP ECM, SAP Project Monitoring and Systems ( For those who have managed the Turnkey Projects like EP & C, ONG etc ),
If you have worked in Production Planning or capacity Planning departments, You can very easily learn SAP PP module and enter into SAP area.
Similarly if you have worked in Maintanance Activitis , you can choose SAP PM module.
